Clearing Browser Cache

Modified on Tue, 24 Sep at 12:39 PM

Sometimes, you might be told to "clear your browser cache"

Unlike the Myriad Anywhere Media Cache, browser cache is managed by the web browser you're using.

Clearing the history looks a bit different on each browser, so we've produced these instructions.

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the triple dot menu on the top right
  2. Click "Delete browsing data"

  3. Important: make sure you only select Cached images and files, otherwise you may get logged out of most websites.
  4. Click Delete data

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the "... " menu on the top right
  2. Choose Settings
  3. Search for clear browsing data and press Choose what to clear
  4. Make sure only Cached images and files are ticked
  5. Click Clear Now

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the hamburger menu on the top right
  2. Under the History section, press Clear recent history
  3. Make sure only Temporary cached files and pages is ticked - and choose Everything at the top
  4. Click Clear
