Myriad Playout v6.3.3 adds a dedicated integration for stations that are using the Futuri AudioAI system. For more information about the Futuri AudioAI system see https://futurimedia.com/solutions/audioai/
Configuring Myriad to use the Futuri AudioAI system
To activate this feature, you will need to login to your Futuri AudioAI account and navigate to the Settings page, make a note of your "Identifier" and your "API KEY" shown here in green:
Once you have this information, open Myriad Playout, and on the Station menu select Station Settings thenthe AI Voice Links tab and make sure that you have enabled the AI Voice Link feature by selecting a "Voice Source".
If you are not already using AI Voice Links, then you can just select the "Local" voice option. You won't be using this speech synthesizer, as all Breaknotes are always rendered using the voices on the Futuri system.
At the bottom of the window, tick the box marked "Enable Futuri AudioAI features and then enter the API Key and Station ID that you made a note of from the Futurity website:
Click OK to save these settings.
Manually Inserting an AI Voice Link
In the Log View, on the Edit ribbon, drop down the Add Item button and select AI Voice Link:
On the Edit AI Voice Link window, click the button to "Create a new empty script" and you will see a new button on the right-hand side. Clicking this will show you a list of all the available [GPT] Breaknotes that you have configured in Futuri.
Select one of these and you will see that it is entered into the script area.
Important: You must not add any other text to the script, it must ONLY contain the exact name of the Future Breaknote that you want to use.
You can click the Generate Audio button at the bottom to have the link generated for you immediately. This can take a few seconds depending on how the level of detail you have selected when creating the Breaknote in the Futuri web portal.
Using the Myriad Scheduler to insert Futuri AudioAI Voice Links
You add links to the Clocks in just the same was as detailed in this article, and you just select the AudioAI Breaknote to use as shown above and click OK to save it into the Clock position:

In the Clock Editor, add in a "Voice Link" item and set the script to the exact name of the Breaknote:

To schedule a Futuri AudioAI Voice Link via a 3rd party scheduler such as Music Master, GSelector, PowerGold etc. simply add in a "Breaknote" item into your Clock with the text set to the exact name of the Breaknote - for example:

Playing out AudioAI Voice Links
You should make sure that you have configured the "Additional number of log items ahead to cache" as described in this article to make sure that Myriad will request the links to be created well in advance as some links can take a few minutes to create.
Once the Log starts, you will see that Myriad will request the AudioAI link to be created ahead of time and will be automatically downloaded, imported and normalised to match your station settings, and will be automatically placed with the segue using the settings you configured in Station Settings.
Automatically pre-creating AudioAI Voice Links:
If you are using a lot of more complex links, then we recommend that the links are actually requested ahead of time as this will make sure that the Futuri system has time to create all the links for your hour.
The best way to do this is to create two Windows Scheduled Tasks that will run each hour to pre-request the links ahead of time. We recommend setting up one at approximately 15 minutes past the hour and a second identical one at 45 mins past the hour, both set to create the AI VoiceLinks for the next hour.
The reason for having 2 tasks is that shorter links will be created very quickly by the Futuri system and can be imported immediately during the first request, but more complex Breaknotes can take a few minutes to create, so the first scheduled task will request them to be created, and the second task will then automatically download the created audio and import it into the scheduled log.
The following example command line will generate all of the AI Voice links for the following hour:
