Enabling pre-built pages in broadcast.radio (website add-on only)

Modified on Tue, 24 Sep at 12:54 PM

The following article covers how to browse and enable the pre-built pages to include in your broadcast.radio website.

Please note that these features are only available for customers that have the optional website add-on enabled on this broadcast.radio account.

What are pre-built pages?

Pre-built pages are a collection of common page templates that include features often found on radio websites. These pre-built pages allow you to rapidly build a website that includes complex elements that would be difficult and time consuming to manually build.

The pre-built pages include:

  • About
  • Schedule
  • Listen
  • Presenters
  • News
  • Home
  • Playlist
  • Public File
  • Contact
  • Catch Up

In addition to these pre-built pages, you can also add your own 'custom pages' for any other content you want to include in your website.

How to enable pre-built pages

To decide which pre-built pages to enable on your broadcast.radio website, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your broadcast.radio account with a username and password with permission to edit the website.
  2. Click on the Settings option on the left tab.
  3. Expand the Site Layout drop down menu.
  4. Click on Enabled Pages.

  9. Remember that you will also need to add the page to the Menu (see managing menus) if you want visitors to be able to access it directly. Pages that are not included in the Menu can still be accessed directly by hyperlinks or URL.

Other things you can do

From this window you can also do the following tasks:

  • Edit the contents of a page.
  • Preview the page.
  • Delete the page.

To access one of these functions, click on the buttons next to the selected page.
