Adding Broadcast.Radio output to the Broadcast Radio Encoder

If you stream using the Broadcast Radio Encoder, and don't have Myriad OCP (Online Content Processor) set-up and configured, you can send metadata (such as Now Playing information) to broadcast.radio.

Note that changing any Encoder settings is likely to cause your stream to reconnect. To set up broadcast.radio without the risk of downtime, set up OCP instead.

Please note that configuring both the Encoder and OCP to broadcast.radio may cause now playing information to duplicate. We STRONGLY recommend only connecting one application to broadcast.radio.

1. Open The Encoder Monitor

If it's not already open, click on the Start Menu and find the Encoder Monitor.

Click Settings, then Encoder Service Settings.

This will bring up a list of Encoders. Single click on your service, and click Edit.

2. Find Your API Key

Check the box next to Connect to Broadcast Radio MyStation. Then, on the right hand side, click on the globe icon.

This will open your Web Browser directly to Playout Integration settings. It may ask you for your broadcast.radio username and password.

Enter your email address and password, and click Sign In.

Note: If you cannot remember your password, click "Forgot Your Password" and enter your email address. If you're not able to reset your password for any reason, contact BR Support.

This will bring you to the Playout Integration screen. Click Copy next to your API key.

Go back to the Encoder Settings window. Right click on the text box that says API Key from MyStation 'Playout Integration' settings page, and choose Paste.
